Fare Details

Meter Rate 1

Des Plaines to Des Plaines local rate / $3.00 flag plus $3.00 per mile. (Excludes River Casino to local hotel.)

Meter Rate 2

For trips between midnight and 07:00 am, the rate shall be the meter rate plus one half.

Meter Rate 3

All trips on major holidays and during inclement weather shall be double the meter rate.

Senior/Disabled Citizen

Des Plaines Subsidized Taxicab Rate Program Voucher accepted. (Meter rate apply for rates in excess of city of Des Plaines issued voucher.) For Senior Citizens over the age of sixty-five (65) without a Des Plaines voucher upon proof of age and residency in the City of Des Plaines shall be entitled to a fifty (50) percent re-deduction from the total fare.

Flat Rates

Available for O’Hare-Midway Airports, downtown Chicago and all suburbs. Flat rate from Des Plaines to O’Hare is $20.00. Contact dispatch for additional rate quotes.

When the cost of fuel exceeds $3.00 per gallon a fuel surcharge of $1.00 may be added to the total metered fare. All toll charges are customer’s responsibility and shall be added to the final charge. $3.00 surcharge for each additional passenger over the age of 12. $30.00 per hour waiting time ($0.50 per minute). $4.00 Airport stamp tax for all airport pickups. $100.00 additional charge for any bodily fluid cleanup.
